Babatude fashola visits Asaba and Asagba's palace.

"His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN),minister of power,works and housing, is in Asaba ahead of tommorow's monthly energy meeting.While in the state,he will inspect some power supply installations in Delta State,as well as commission some projects too.

"Addressing the palace,the Minister assures of more steady Power supply as he also informed the house that the contractor handling the 2nd Niger Bridge project have been fully mobilized and will be returning to site soon.He also touched on the issue of some major federal roads within the  Niger Delta Region and promised that they will receive rapid attention from govt.

"The minister however,lamented on the unbelievable claims for compensation by various communities and plead with the state govt and the palace of the royal father to intervene.Responding,Chief P.I.G Onyeobi,on behalf of Asagba of Asaba,acknowledged and appreciated the recent improvement in power supply.He thanked the minister for his efforts and his visit to the palace as well as reminded him  that the people deserve more from his ministry.
